"Present Heist" is a short Christmas themed horror game, making use of the PSX style. Made in 7 days for the Yogscast Jingle Game Jam 2024.
Story
It's Christmas time! But instead of spreading Christmas cheer, you made your way to Santa's Workshop wanting to steal some presents. Though, upon getting there, you realize something is wrong.

Awesome! Sadly, while running the game in browser, I had a bug that once the cursor went "out of the screen" the camera turned 180 degrees.
I think google introduced a new feature where you have to accept for your cursor to be locked in one place, so you need to allow that when it pops up, but if you did that and it still happens, it may be because when you press esc to go to the pause menu it also takes the focus away from the game window so you need to press the resume button on the pause menu to refocus and also block the cursor in the middle once again, hope this helped.

Nice, you probably finished it faster than I could :) , I didn't want to make it too hard since I know most people would struggle to learn their surroundings and the randomness of Santa's patrolling patter can take them by surprise. Yeah thats true! It would be fun with another map thats a little bit bigger with a little bit more missions. Like steal the presents, oh no santa stole the battery to the car. need to get it or something like that! :D So I get a little bit longer video hehe ;)
Hehe, not a bad idea, unfortunately I didn't have much time in the game jam so I had to make sure I didn't over scope it too much.
Ohhh it was a game jam game.. totally missed that! Then I understand ;) Been doing some game jams myself aswell... buuuut if you ever update it hehe ;)

Windows Defender identified a Trojan in the executable. The trojan is called "Wacatac.B!ml" False positive?
It's a false positive, I'm still unsure what causes this problem to some people.
Simple concept, go in retrieve the goods, hide, and make your sweet escape.. merry christmas
